About

The Ann Arbor Concert Band Brass Choir's mission is to increase awareness of and excitement about the Ann Arbor Concert Band and the rich musical offerings the band brings to the community. We are made up of members of our brass and percussion sections, as well as our musical friends from around the area, and we were founded in 2020 when band members were looking for creative ways to get together and play music during a time when we lost the ability to rehearse or perform indoors. We played holiday gigs at Kerrytown that year, and have expanded our outreach since then to be featured at such events as KindleFest, Festive Fridays, A2 Summer Streets, Hometown Christmas, and the Sunday Artisan Market as well as private performances for senior living facilities.
